I absolutely love the one-on-one support we provided at BTC tutoring and appreciate being able to use my 25 plus years of experience to provide individualized and engaging support and instruction to children of all ages. The focus is on the CHILD and what he or she needs to grow, succeed, build confidence, and learn to love learning! I care deeply for the children that I am entrusted with, and I never take that for granted.
When I am not teaching or tutoring, I am spending time with my 3 children, 3 dogs, and 4 cats, reading history fiction, teaching Ballroom Dance, and wishing I was at the beach!

I live in State College, PA. I went for my undergraduate degree at Penn State and never left. This year is my 27th year of teaching. I live with my husband, my 12 year old daughter and our 2 dogs named Murphy and Laya. I love dogs and I volunteer at our local dog shelter every week. I also love to read, listen to all types of podcasts and to visit Disney World!

I was a teacher in the Williamsport Area School District for 32 years and retired in 2021. I also taught online for VIP KID, an online program, teaching English as a Second language to children in foreign countries.
Being able to nurture the confidence in my students and help them to be successful is my goal as a teacher/tutor. Aside from tutoring with BTC, I volunteer for the Special Olympics of PA, spend time with my family including my two dogs and help in our family business.

I Love Disney and The Peanuts. I host paint nights at my house for fun. I love to draw, paint and play Legos with my son. I am a Star War Fan. My husband and I had the Star Wars Theme music playing at our wedding to introduce us at the reception. We will be married for 25 years this year.
